If you prefer to ride a premium mechanical group-set, then Super Record is for you. I have everything good to say about the Super Record. I recently upgraded from Ergo Record 10 to the SR 12. It does everything you would expect it to do for the highest level Campag makes. I will say this. Its simplistic and functions very smooth and shifts are lightning quick. With 52-36 chain rings and the 12-29 cog set, I feel the gear range is wide enough to handle anything around lower mid-Cal. I like it so much that when it comes time to replace the Record 10 on my back up (Mondonico - ELOS) frame set, Super Record 12 will be my leading choice.
