I'm dating myself here but when I started racing we used bikes with downtube shifters (remember those?).  When Campagnolo Ergopower came out I made the switch - wow, what a difference that was.  Instead of grinding up a hill afraid to take my hands off the bars to execute a shift I could now shift at will, in the saddle, out of the saddle, coming out of turns...  In fact I was shifting so much that after 4000 miles my Ergopower levers started to shift on their own.  I'd get out of the saddle to climb a hill and my derailleur would drop from the 23 tooth cog to the 21 - not fun.  I soon learned that the "G" springs inside Ergopower levers have a lifespan.  In my case that life span lasted most of a season.  For some people they will last longer, and some will wear out sooner, it all depends upon how much you shift.  The good news is that Ergopower levers can be serviced.  If you have several thousand miles on your levers you should consider this routine service.

This upgrade includes the spring carrier, bushing and G-springs.  The lever is completely overhauled, cleaned, and re-lubricated.   The cost for this upgrade service is $70.00 including return shipping.

If you would like to have us overhaul, clean, re-lubricate and replace the G-springs and spring carrier in your left Ergopower lever at the same time the total cost for both levers including return shipping is $100.00.

Your lever(s) will be returned via USPS Priority Mail.
